I wish I could say I’ve just finished reading one of KL7AJ fine tomes about my second oldest hobby. But alas, I have reverted to my first oldest hobby.

Zane's first name was Pearl. The number of movies based on his books is impressive. Like L'Amour they both had their critics concerning their writing abilities. But they were popular and prolific.

I just got done listening to the last of the plainsman by Zane Grey that was enjoyable. I like how he does pretty good on historical accuracy for the equipment used in the books.

Started watching the TV series and liked it enough to want to read the books. 1/2 way through book 2 in just over a week.

Currently working through 'American Marxism' by Mark Levin.

If you can't understand what's happening in the U.S. right now or why it's happening, this is the book for you.

Up next: 'The Laptop from Hell' by Miranda Devine. Backordered on Amazon until January '22

Currently reading Small Is Beautiful by E.F Schumacher (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_Is_Beautiful).

I picked this up as a freebie somewhere some years ago and it has been on my bookshelf, waiting for a time when I wanted to read something that required a bit of thought. Obviously the economic theories and the world has changed since 1973 but as a bit of history or seeing how the concepts presented in some cases apply today or what has changed is interesting. I just started the final part of the book last night. Not really being college educated (I went to a tech school) I will admit some of the concepts do go a bit over my head.
