    But back to books.

Now working on "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck"

Dietrich Bonhoeffer, The cost of discipleship. Good reading from a man who died fighting fascism in his own country.

Just finished listening to "Ham Radio for Dummies 4th Edition", I figured it would help catch me up on all the changes that have taken place while I was out of the hobby. I found it fairly informative especially the sections on the digital modes that did not exist back when I was active.

"Black Hearts: One Platoon's Descent Into Madness in Iraq's Triangle of Death" by Jim Frederick.

Rough, and probably hard to believe unless you were in a similar deployment tempo with a similar command climate. Great contrast to the romanticism of the classics like Black Hawk down, We Were Soldiers, etc.

"Plunder and Deceit"- by Mark Levin.

Although written with college-age or college-bound students in mind, it's really for anyone who has ever wondered 'where DOES the money go?'

Just start reading The Orchid Thief by Susan Orlean. It's been on my list for awhile, I have to say the main character kind of reminds me of some hams I know with their obsessions (hihi)
