About a year or so ago we had 10s of thousands of them, about a 3/16 inch in length flying around the kitchen/bathroom/workshop half of the house. We have isopropyl alcohol in spray bottles for just such occasions. It took about an hour to find and shoot them all down.

We have lots of dirt-dauber wasps (with nests in the attic), whom we tolerate, since they feed on the larvae of termites.

    Speaking of spiders...

This one creates a web every night and takes it down every morning. I've done a search but can't find exactly which kind of spider it is. My daughter thought it was a Trianglate Cobweb spider, but it's WAY too big to be that (it's abdomen is big as my thumbnail).
