HRD - The twilight zone

    I was using HRD for several years and then they changed servers. Apparently, one server is for sales and the other is for support. My support account worked (works) fine, but I cannot access my sales account (which I'm supposed to have). Frustration in getting this account working drove me away from using HRD for some time. I've now decided to try to purchase a year's maintenance ($49) and it is impossible to get to my account. I have several tickets for support and the support people are very nice, but I'm no farther than I was months ago. I've checked my email and HRD isn't blocked. I've also received an email from a sales person who hasn't replied to several of my emails. The support person has sent me my password but I never get it. I cannot change my password and when I click forgot password, nothing happens. The support person sees my email address (my account username), apparently. I suggested that there might be in embedded character in my email address. No response....
    I asked her to send my password to one of our other email accounts, but she refuses. I've asked for her to simply send a text to both email addresses... nothing.

    I call, but all I get is a recorded message... I need H.E.L.P>

    Does anyone have a phone number that actually reaches a person working at HRD!

    Doubt if a new account would be an issue, more than likely it would make your life less frustrating. Pretty sure everything is relative to your callsign so a new account might not be an issue. Typically, if anything irritates me or does not make me happy I just move on to greener pasture.

    Sounds like you have gotten more than one email address set up with HRD and that will cause all sorts of problems. Do you have any idea WHICH email you originally signed up with? Access to your account is dependent on you having the correct user name and password you signed up with. You must have ONE email address registered with HRD. That is why they will not send you info to other emails.

    I suggest you contact them and make clear which email and ONLY ONE email you want registered with HRD. When you start asking them to send to multiple emails, you're into the twilight zone. It won't work.

    Thanks for the suggestion. We do have another email that they may have. I will contact them later this morning...

    I just entered a support ticket for the original support ticket which doesn't seem to be able to address my problem much less, resolve it. I've even sent pictures, to no avail.

    I'm admitting defeat... There is no way that I can purchase maintenance. I'm not getting replies to my support tickets. I can't find a phone number that directs me to a human. So, I guess that I will use the version that I own for as long as it works. My needs are simple so I suspect that it will last for quite some time. Should I start to have issue, I simply will try another logging program. There are many free programs out there.

    It's hard to believe that given situations like mine, a company like this will have a long existence.

    Got an email from HRD's Mike, WA9PIE, and he has resolved my problem...
