I am using Echolink Android app. I am unable to connect to many repeaters and conferences. After clicking the connect button it shows loading and times out after a few seconds. I also tried using VPN but that didn't solve the problem.
The easy fix is to use a Public Proxy. Menu, Setup/Proxy Or you can setup your own Proxy Server on the internet using Linux and Java code EchoLinkProxy.jar. Cost for your own "Cloud" server is about $5 a month. Well worth it for other things also. Like a Echolink and Allstar Node. Have Fun.
