Too late :) I've already started sending my fully homemade hand filled QSL-card, 9 sent as of now, and 2 replies.
Gonna mail another batch, as I guess posting services has resumed within South America countries.
Too bad these nuts at Correios do not seem to offer paper stamps anymore.

What I've been doing so far is uploading the adi file created by WSJTX to LOTW, then, after a few minutes, getting on my QRZ logbook and using the Import from LOTW feature.

    That works!

I imagine that someday, (not to give the programming folks that administer and support QRZ any more to do - they are busy enough!) the automatic confirmation algorithm might be "enhanced" so that when that script determines that the contact is not "confirmed", an additional programmatic assessment would allow a "failure code" to be displayed (i.e., "Time Difference", "Band mismatch", etc. etc.) so that the interested parties can be aware and resolve the issue. That might cut down on the calls to the help desk, er, the forum to explain it every time a noob like me re-asks the same old question. But I have learned a lot already re: LotW and QRZ... Thanks for the info.

Your time is 02:36, hers is 02:01. This exceeds the 30-minute window hence no confirmation.

They count for DXCC as well as for WPX.

Thanks for that... Not sure if I can really do anything with that info. I know my time was accurate. So, that means that the QSO time reported by each of us was different ? Is that basically the time on the local PC ? Not sure how those could even be that much different, given the timing requirements for the WSJT-X software... I've taken to using the Windows time server to sync my PC clock before every WSJT-X session, which appears to be close enough for government work... but when I first started with that app, I read the included user guide and initially thought that I would have to install a third-party time server to get the precision / quality / chromatic bla-bla-bla time required... Have not needed that so far. Maybe it's just the seconds that matter (and not the minutes) - since it's the start of each 15-second transmit / receive interval that is critical. As long as the seconds line up, maybe the app does not care about the minute... Like many things, "the more you know, the wackier it gets !" Thanks for taking the time to look into the details on that contact - I might send her an email with the details - maybe a light will come on for her ???

Correct. The actual time doesn't matter to WSJT-X. Only that you be better than +/- 2 secs inside the 15 sec window. Your clock can be at 7:30 last Friday, etc and it won't matter except for confirmations afterwards. Since you're actually synching the problem doesn't seem to be yours.
Is this 'she' a VR2 by any chance?
BTW, if you are ever unsure about your computer time you can check at

Cool - thanks for the link. The other call was N3ARB (if that's what you were asking...)

unfortunately, the courtesy is not at every one of my qso's from the other end. I have over 500 contacts, and 165 confirmed. Yes, I did because its that easy to just click a button and confirm...its what I liked about QRZ. I cant imagine why someone would not confirm my contact afterwards. Frustrating to get that paper chase WAS done. Hope I can get it before I silent key.
