Not to discourage you from any direction you may go, however, ruling out a diesel and turning around to say a Land Rover or H1 may be options is laughable IMO. I can assure you a new Diesel is no more expensive to maintain than a Land Rover. And don't get me started on H1s. While they are cool vehicles they are a royal PITA to work on. I have a 2012 Ram 3500 Diesel, It is roughly $125 to service the truck every 150 hours. Mobil 1 synthetic diesel oil, oil filter, air filter, wiper fluid and fuel filter. Like W7UUU said, Buy what you want/need, worry about RF later. No issues at all when I installed my Kenwood 281 in the truck.
